Exactly.

Ryan, sorry to hear about this. Glad you're OK and I hope the car gets fixed back to where it was.

I bet this was more than 4 Gs but not too much. I think it ramped up and down faster than update speed.

I did my best to watch in slomo. indeed... he's flopping around like World Cup players do! more importantly, glad to hear Ryan was ok.

It distinctly like the seat/mount broke and not just flexed as it doesn't appear to return to the original position - noticing how high the seat is at the start and the Sparco logo. Also, I think I will remount my seat to the camera mount. Wow. Even more happy you're OK.

(Caution opinion to follow and apologies to Ryan for hijacking the thread. last post here. I will ask to get this split this off)

Only mount seats as designed. Most composite seats only floor mount via 4 points. flexi floor mounted seats don't cut it IMO. A back brace does not stop dumping from an offset impact,.

Many make fun of Nascar but once they embraced driver safety they moved well forward of other racing groups. The drivers seating systems are designed to hold the driver and his/her head in place. The systems have many reinforcement points for the torso and halo. The seat and car become one. This is a problem for cars driven on the street and multi driver cars.

Take a look at how VG's seat is mounted in the white car some time. Kurt - perhaps you could post a photo. Very impressive.
