Monaco was interesting. I think could have been better, but it was still fun to watch. Strange how Vettel has gone from the highest high to the lowest low; Riccardo seems to be doing reasonably while Vettel has yet to score a point.
IMHO, Monaco has just gotten too narrow and dangerous for the current cars to really compete. Perhaps they should have a smaller, slower, older model dedicated for Monaco, so that starting on the pole doesn't automatically dictate a win. However, the weekend broadcasts did include some 20 year tributes to Senna that were cool. I enjoyed watching "1" and "The Last Teammate". Looking forward to seeing them in real time at Montreal!

The /Drive special with Chris Harris that was shown after qualifying was also good.

Chris is always entertaining - and it wasnt too badly impacted by the addition of the horrible host from the US Top Gear.

Finished watching the race late yesterday - it was typical Monaco, but I thought there for a minute that the "eye problem"
that Hamilton developed would allow Riccardo to catch him. It is DEFINITELY surprising how poorly Vettel is doing. Clearly the car does not work for him. DR seems to have figured it out, though....but I bet that's not making Vettel very happy. Kimi is also having a crummy season - he had a great start at Monaco, but then his luck ran out. The Ferrari is clearly not his cup o' tea. At this point.....Only 4 points separate Hammy and Rosberg. While it's going to be a one-team dominant season and most people don't like it when that happens, I still think this it's going to be exciting watching these two guys down the stretch.

I don't even care that Rosberg cheated in qualifying, I'll still root for him over Hamilton for the drivers championship.
Hamilton's off track talk and podium body language is already tiresome. I like Monaco because it's a circuit that allows the younger guys in poor cars to shine. Drive of the day goes to Bianchi.

Dem Germans and qualifying at Monaco. While one has to speculate about Nico's opportunistic use of the escape road, I read that the marshals interviewed him, looked at his and Lewis's telemetry, and found that the evidence all pointed to a valid ooopsie.
My opinion of Hamilton has improved some from the time when I just thought he was a wanker, but I think I am rooting for Nico in this bout. Hamilton has displayed some incredible driving, but Nico just seems more likable. Nico surprised many when he completely overshadowed Schumacher.
