Can I make a recommendation? Spend a bit of money on it and make it just a bit prettier. Fix that bumper, give it a good cleaning... You'll recover your money on it. Right now, buyer's may be put off by it's visual condition.

No one even asked to hear it run. I'm really surprised. The price has been lowered to $2500.00 I'm thinking of doing the belt service and putting it on the road. I'm only 28 miles from Summit Point, could have some fun.

I'd clean it up. Get the blue paint off the muffler and the rear bumper rubber molding, and maybe draw more interest. Too bad whoever did the repaint, didn't remove the ugly add on rear side markers. Also maybe try to find the correct euro front valance without the side markers.

I'm thinking the people who would be interested in this would want to get it cheap and do their own work. I'm almost to the point of doing the belt service and doing exactly what you suggest. But if I do that I might keep it, just what I need another 944. Thanks for all of the advice.

I like how they sprayed the muffler tip to match the body. I didn't look close enough but I wonder how much over spray got on the glass.

I hate to do this but after a month of trying to sell a running driving euro spec sunroof delete 944 for $2500.00 I have decided to part it. I have too many projects to devote any more time and $ to this. Sad to say it's going to parts.

It would be a shame to part it if it runs and the suspension is in good shape.

I wouldn't mind another one as a daily driver. Market stinks for these cars even today with the air cooled bubble in full force. I sold my running, and driving 86 for less a few years ago. It had a dash free of cracks, good seats, and was not due for a belt and H2O pump. Plus I had a valve job and head gasket done on it.

Seems like parting a car would take more time and effort that you currently don't have. Maybe that's just me.

Put it on eBay and see if you get a bite to get rid of it.

I doubt you'll pull $2500 out of the parts especially when you factor in your time.

Try listing it on some of the racer websites. Like NASA and the like.
