What setup is that? I see Rennline tops. Anything requiring fabrication would stretch my current capabilities although I can follow directions well - just ask my wife.
They are Bilstein Hybrids with H&R springs and yes there are Rennline tops and camber plates. Previous owner had them on for 4k miles until he switched to Motons I think. He seems to think they will be direct bolt on.

Mark,
I'm trying to figure that out right now. So far, looking at:
1. Working on my Boxster
2. Katie's Cars & Coffee followed by 1
3. 2 followed by a jaunt up to SP to heckle drovers

So, I'll add:
4. 2 followed by a jaunt half way to SP to get dirty doing good deeds

I'll check with the Determinator and let you know tonight...

Mark,
In researching what exactly needs to be done I see you doing the same thing on Rennlist. Good man! Have you invited Paddy from his earlier comment he has the same car and perhaps experience as well? He even has a garage half way between me and Leesburg! Not telling you what to do but the better part of valor might be waiting until not all the Dorkies with 964s are gone for the weekend at SP
I will be happy to help out as long as you are not counting on me to have the 964 experience. It looks like an all day procedure that may in a worst case drag out if you need to get brake lines, bolts that should be replaced, etc. Share your list of tools needed and I'll see what I have to match up. So far it looks like you could use the following I could help out with:

1. Lift
2. Jack stands for supporting suspension before drop
3. Various metric sockets, ratchets, torque wrenches
4. 22mm through socket (O2 sensor tool) and 7mm Allen wrench although it doesn't look like you need to reuse the tops
5. Rubber mallet
6. Alignment tools (you'll still need to get a real alignment but at least we can get in the ballpark for the drive over)
7. ?

Also, do you have to be able to drive the car Sunday? Worst case always seems to happen when you can't afford it!

I talked to Paddy and he is going out of town this weekend so we can just hold off for now until he gets back and then maybe meet at his garage in Oakton. Leesburg is too far and I would have to lug all of my tools there and back. I will let you know when Paddy is back in town.

I was just typing for you to PM me the address! Either way works for me.

Because I didn't know Tim's wife was showing up!

Wish I could have but i still ended up cussing and fighting the p-car for 10 hours on saturday. However, i was able to change oil, belts, oil pressure sending unit gasket (what a PITA), and put a new exhaust system on. The suspension will have to wait a little while. How was the PCA event at SP?
