Vintage Seat is nice, about double the price of Steffan @ GTS. I wish Vintage made a lollipop seat. I talked to him a while back trying to compare his rsr seat to steffan's. I think you have a very nice project. Looks like the background of the shop is Charlies lift @ Intersports. They doing the work?

The RS door panels would prob fit the look better if you got rid of the plastic handle and put a leather pull strap similar to the early light weight cars.

Sounds like what you are looking for are sport seats. I'm not familiar with the reproductions, the originals are highly sought after. A correctly restored set with the proper sliders and rockers are as high as 10K, cores are about 6k, if you find a set make sure that the slider/rockers are included, they run about $1500.
R/ST/RS seats make a nice alternative. Its Hot here, think about cloth/cord/houndstooth inserts.

These are R seats in my 68

These are RS and ST seats, the passenger seat is actually a real one.

I had this picture of Tan sport seats in my files, Tan can look nice if its fresh and new.

yep, car is in Charlie's special workshop at front of Intersport shop.

Sly and I went with Charlie out to Culpeper to pick up a couple of pit bikes yesterday. And to Dulles for a new Eyetalian Ferrari for Charlie that just arrived via air freight.

This thread is all full of really nice stuff. I love the little Honda Trail bikes (thanks to you-know-who for repeated lending me his). The car is very nice. And that Ferrari bike looks really interesting. To say nothing of Rob's amazing collection of cars. Those shoulder straps look like a very long run, Rob - remember that straps stretch 10% in an accident. If they're 5' long, they're going to stretch quite a bit.

Hey Peter, that is a long run, but it is the actual stock location for a 68 shoulder strap, I added two extra lugs, to have an "H" pattern harness. I also added a modern retractable 3 point seat belt, which is what I use.

Can't wait to see the finished product. Still kicking myself for not picking up the 71 T project car back in 2000 that I could have gotten for $3500.
