Anyone know the preferred route to take these days from the DC area? GPS always says 95 to Richmond then 360W but I've always taken 66 to 29. How's construction on these respective routes these days? I will be trailering if that matters.

I've always preferred the Rt29 choice. Pace is limited with the trailer anyway, and only a few places where traffic is a potential issue. A couple of stretches the lanes are a bit narrow with my 26' enclosed, but otherwise an easy drive. And the one time I did try using 95 for the return trip, I got a ludicrous speeding ticket on the route towards 95 from the track.

Let me know if the guy in the tub on the back straight has anything interesting written on the back of his shirt.

Thanks. I'll stick to the tried and true 29.

Just got the event pamphlet. Didnt know there was no camping. That is a surprise to me as I was planning on it. Anyone know why or is that just a copy and paste error?

Pretty sure there is an extra charge for the club renting the track for added security at night when there will be campers.
