I have to admit my phone fell in a lake (in my pocket off the back of my boat) completely submerged. My son got a bag of rice and we left it in there for a day and it still works today with no issues. It has been about three weeks so far. I thought it would rust in a day. Not quite as exciting as pulling it out of a pile of dung but smells better!
