Default 2013 LeMons Capitol Offense race

This year's Capitol Offense race was a hoot! Well represented by Dorkis (too bad we didn't have T-shirts ). Our little RX7 did very well. No mechanicals, and our first ever Black-Flag-Free outing! We finished 9th out of 101 starters; I believe there were 50 or more still running at the end. I found time to get a few pics, but they're still on the cards; as soon as I can I'll try to post something.

But here's one from the LeMons Facebook page. Bambi tried leaping over a racer....but FAILED! Took out the windshield, but fortunately no one was hurt. And yes...the camera was on a boat.......!

I'll let the fellow Dorkis fill in the gaps.

Congrats on the great showing. I was driving back from Pittsburgh with my family yesterday afternoon and attempted to stop by. I didn't realize they were charging admission on Sunday. They wanted $60 for the three of us (at 4pm) so we just turned around and went home. Sorry we missed it.

I also spotted another Dorki wandering aimlessly around the roads of Western Virginia. Colin in his 944. Guess he was looking for a nice spot to break down

That it a FANTASTIC pic. At first I thought it was just part of the cars decoration until I read your text.

My son and I stopped by the race Saturday. When we got home he handed me his iPad with this picture on it and said "look what just showed up on Reddit".

I'm 99% certain its a screen grab from a hi-rez video, prolly a GoPro3 hanging on the car/boat.

Sorry we missed you. And if you had stopped by after the track went cold, we could have warmed you up with some Ouzo & baklava. Raffi knows what I'm talkin' about.

Amazing that despite facing his/her imminent mortality, the deer had the presence of mind to look at the camera!

I thought that was the car's theme! Imagine the possibilities...
