Do these really make a lot of difference?

Yes, they do.
The stock tie rods have a pseudo-universal joint with fat rubber bushes to provide some 'softening' of road feel. The turbo tie rods have a direct, bushless joint. More precise, more road feel.

This turbo tie rod thing is not an urban myth. Get 'em!

You might not feel much dif if your existing tie rod bushings are like new good and but most are not. All in all a good upgrade. Shop around, prices run from $120.00 to $180.00 for the same kit.
