I miss this as well. Gotta believe NBC will bring it back at some point across the season. It was always my cue to stop FW'ing the DVR.

My understanding was Varsha is contracted to speed... What with all those Barret Jackson auctions to cover afterall
I prefer Varsha over Diffey, but not sure how often he will be back. On the otherhand about the Vettel/Webber thing.. Think back to the Senna/Prost days. Senna would have taken the position, won the race and likely a championship. Prost would have listened to orders and whined instead. Webber listened to orders. Vettel will likely be champion again. I don't like it, but at least it proves him hungry still to win. Its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission afterall.

Driver championship is the LEAST important thing in F1. Drivers are NOT paid to win for themselves. They are paid to win for the team. F1 is more like chess.
#1 is constructors championship (and really #2 and #3) #2 (distant) is drivers championship

I'll admit, that Team orders can seem confounding or unfair at times. But that's what F1 is all about.

Couple years ago Vettel actually did take out both he and Webber with a similar encounter.

the longer I think about it the more I don't see why webber is bitching ab the outcome
he's out-qualified 9 out of 10 times. has driven for twice as long as vettel with only a handful of wins. and particularly in this instance obviously slower than vettel. face it, if it looks like a duck... i mean, if he WAS faster, then he wouldn't have his team mate riding his ass for 5 laps. in addition, Lewis was coming up behind them. knowing that every point counts I would prefer to be in front instead of worrying whether hammy is gonna make last minute banzai dive bomb and either put me in third or worse, in the gravel cant blame vettel for trying |
