I too had a great time. I did decide while the Turbo can go pretty fast, it is a bitch in the twisty stuff. With it's stock suspension and heavy weight, it rides like a boat in places like the ESSEs. It just doesn't have that "feel" of confidence I get with the Targa.

Even started the debate once I got home. Wife said, why don't you get a GT3 but if you do, you have to reduce the household Porsche numbers to three. I said that was easy....we sell the Boxster Somehow she didn't think that was the right answer. Then I said, I doubted the GT3 would work well as a tow vehicle.....and she didn't like that answer as well

Damn......

Some luck lies not in getting what you thought you wanted but getting what you have, which once you have got it you may be smart enough to see is what you would have wanted had you known.

Gee, "three" sounds kind of random. It that her lucky number or something? Rather than try to decide which car to sell, put that effort into moving the bar!

Glad to hear the weather didn't get too bad for you guys. Really wish I could've made it.

John -- glad to hear about the lack of ice pedal!

On Saturday an instructor who had soloed his green student asked the marshals to black flag him just to see if he was paying attention. He passed four black flags at Oak Tree and was finally brought in after the starter climbed over the pit rail and waved a black flag at him. The instructor was ridiculed at the drivers meeting Sunday morning for soloing him. Not a bad idea though.

No need to a 997.2 GT3 is much more fun on the straights and twisties of any kind than a 996 TT i'll help you find the right one
