Seriously though, WOW the car looks great; So glad to see it back and better than before! It's great to hear he is really getting into fixing, understanding and driving cars.

*Hopefully you have some real tires on those rims now. I learned the hard way that 'snow tires' don't handle extreme braking situations very well.... :/

p.s. did you ever replace the radio? I still have the one I scavenged from it laying around somewhere...

Still has those tires on it but will be replaced as soon as he start driving it regularly here next month. We have a couple of sets of 16x9 clubsports with Hoosiers on them for "spirited driving".
We did put a Sony radio in it that I had taken out of my turbo when it went from being a streetcar to a racecar.
As far as giving it back....well you are going to have to talk to it's new owner who is quite the hustler/salesman when it comes to all things monetary....
