Looking for a good and quiet air compressor for my garage. I try to copycat Astore Garage and Grill across the street . Any recommendation from the Dorki gang? brand name and model? as well for air tools also.

P.S. Marc toll me that Jim Richard has a quiet one.....

Suggest you buy 200' of good quality air line, and run it from your garage to Marc's compressor. It should be very quiet in your garage, and you can't beat the price!

I went the big and cheap route, so it doesn't have to run very often. However, Marc tells me mine makes his seem quiet.

Reality is there are few quiet compressors, just some that are less noisy than others. Avoid "oil-less" and you'll be at the quieter end of the spectrum.

Ask Jim R what Craftsman compressor he bought, his is real quiet compared to mine. I went the Costco route and picked up a 26Gallon/5hp Coleman, cheap but loud.

However, you can get a good deal at costco on air hoses and air tools. I think my toolset was around $100, I'll take a picture of what was included and post it tomorrow.

I've got a Craftsmen but can't really comment on how quiet it is because I'm never in the house when it is running

Kevin, I bought a 7HP, 2-stage, 175 PSI compressor from Sears. It's quiet, doesn't need to run that often, and it was on sale for $369. It's the upright model with the black tank, and wheels to roll it around. I like it.

The only way I know is having some webspace where you can store your images and then using the "Img" tags to reference the url where the image is stored.

For example, I signed up for the free space from Pelican. When I want to post a pic I upload the pic to my Pelican space, then copy the url address and insert it in between the image tags {img}http://www.etc..com/picture1.jpg{/img}. For demonstration purposes I had to replace the [] around the image tags with {}.
