Rob, the counties closest(that are worth living in IMO) to your work are Howard or Montgomery. Personally I would choose Montgomery county over all of them, but as I said before I'm a little biased . The quality of life is nice over here, a good balance of rural/suburbs/urban lifestyle. Try looking at places in Kensington, Silver Spring,Rockville, Bethesda, or Olney.
