Agreed. I'm giving the insurance company the title Friday morning if i don't hear from anyone.

in the last 10k miles i have replaced (Clutch, Rod Bearings, Lifters, Ball Joints, Installed Koni Adjustable Shocks, Turbo Rear Sway Bar, Belts, Seals, and tons of misc maintenance)

Let me know today if anyone wants to go get it this weekend in Williamsport, PA.

If I didn't otherwise have a garage already filled with too much, I'd be VERY interested! Someone needs to jump on this!

BTW, has your insurance settlement taken into account your recent expeditures in the car? When my 944S2 was totalled some years back, the insurance was able to add the recent mods, documented with receipts, above and beyond their original "market based" settlement amount. ok. So basically I just have to sign the title over to anyone that wants it, and they can go pick it up.

In Virginia there is no salvage title issued, so the current title is fine to use.

for those curious (and to see if this sounds about right) the settlement amount was about $5,700 less my deductible. (my car was considered 'Low' quality due to a small fender dent, a scratched mirror and the cracked dash unrelated to the accident)

As for the receipts i do have them in the most organized filing system ever!!! but was told that most of that stuff is considered maintenance and doesn't qualify for increasing value.

Anyway the clock is ticking...

*New Dansk Cat-back, LSD Tranny, Cerullo Seats, Koni's Front Struts, Turbo Rear Sway Bar, New Bilstein Rear Shocks, New CVs, New Spring Center Clutch, Replica Twist Rims, Basically Mint Doors, Rear fenders, Rear Bumper, Mirrors, and so many other hidden gems i don't even remember replacing... haha!

Sadly i can't really justify selling in for much less because at that point i'll just let the insurance company take it and be done with it...
