FWIW the wiper speed control is easy to replace and about $60. GLWS!

re wipers, great thanks!

re Cayenne, I've heard of driveshaft issues, but I haven't really done much other research. I thought they were pretty reliable. What issues have you had with yours?

Rob there was a good article on the cayenne in pano a year or do ago. Wish I could remember the issue.

I recall reading something bad about coolant pipes (plastic) in the V8 models.

Good luck with selling the boxster and using the 928!

Perhaps I'm unlucky but I'm not keen on the Cayenne as much any more.

you can find out most everything you need to know here in the Rennlist Cayenne forums. I highly recommend the admin stickys before buying a !PIG
