Uh, no. C'mon Larry -- you are more thoughtful then that. Most of the lawyers I know work down in the trenches for 'paydays' that are measured in the thousands, not millions. Not too many are in the business of going after large corporations.

And think about it -- large corporations can hire teams of the best attornies. So it's an uphill battle trying to beat them in court. You need to know you have a pretty strong case for it to be worth the hundreds of thousands of dollars it could take to litigate.

Next thing we know you will be claiming Danika is studying to be a lawyer in her free time

Been a long time since I worked in a kitchen but back in the 70's we poured our coffee at 180 degrees just like McDonalds did according to the posted link. Now that was in real mugs and no drive thru service but that's the temp we always used.

not every one that got hurt did that. McDonalds made a profits based choice to do something they knew would cause more people than normal to get hurt even their own workers serving the coffee. Is this not the very thing you rant about all the time? Big business keeping the man down?

Are all people and all actions by everyone sinister?

And in terms of alignment--his car is already properly aligned for the use he puts it to.
As I stated, when someone brings tires into a store for work, whether to be patched, rotated, balanced or whatever, they are REQUIRED to inform you that the tires are considered unsafe per the guidelines established by the State Police. They are also not permitted to repair or otherwise work on them. If you have a problem with these policies, contact the VA State Police since they are the ones who enforce these policies with the tire dealers. This includes sending "ringers" into these stores for various things to test for compliance. If the shop fails to comply, they lose their State Inspection License. They are not being Dirtbags. They are complying with the law.

But what do I know? I'm just a stupid girl.

in your earlier post, you blamed plaintiff lawyers for the shop's inadequacies. now you are blaming the police. fact is, the shop itself is responsible for its own failings. it's not the fault of someone else, or some group of people, or even global warming. it's just the shop.

btw, D. Bag (from OP) is not necessarily 'Dirtbag', more likely something else

LOL

Also, shops ARE allowed to work on all sorts of things if assured they will not be used on public roads.

How about an introduction, creseida?
