I do not have his contact info, but I'm sure some folks on the board do. Or, you could email the chief instructors and see if they'll put you in touch.
Michael-Is it the car with an euro plate on it?

To answer some of the questions out there about my budget. It all depends on what is out there. I would obviously be paying more for a RSA or 993 than for a 964 and depending on records and mileage. I obviously have a cap, but would prefer to keep that to myself as it will fluctuate throughout my search. As some of you know, I have house projects and other stuff going on and I don't know how long this search will last. I'm trying to be realistic about the process.

I rode in George's car last weekend. WOW. Very very fast. You can find him on Rennlist under "George in MD" and shoot him a PM. It has midnight blue/marble interior, but it looks nice with the exterior color. Two sets of Fikses, euro gear set, suspension, RS tail and splitter, etc. A lot of track miles but the car is amazingly clean, you'd be extremely hard pressed to find a track ready 993 that is cleaner than his. I would buy his car if I didn't already have a 993.

Looking for a "local," well-sorted, and documented 964 or 993 c2 in manual. No guards red exterior or blue interior. Looking for a DE prepared or stock car, not a track car.

Please send me a PM or post if you (or someone you know) have a 964 or 993 coupe matching my description for sale. Thank you.

Paul
Dev 1.8t,
I have a very good high mileage '92 C2 which I think you will like. Since you are local I highly recommend you see and check out car; I am confident you will like it (rebuilt engine, no leaks, unmolested car).

That's me- thanks for the compliments you guys. The car actually has a little over 32K miles on it and I'd say only about a third of those are track miles. I started doing events with a 944S2.

It was a daily driver for awhile (I should say it sat at Dulles for weeks on end) then we drove it to the track before we got a trailer. I'm the second owner- it was purchased with 5,000 miles on it from HBL. I do want to get 40K for it but it comes with a lot and I don't dare guess how much I've put in it. I'm going to have the nose repainted and the splitters painted too- hopefully this week- so it should look just about perfect.

If you're interested please shoot me an e-mail at gwilliams@drs-c3a.com. The home e-mail has been taken over by the wife and 7,000 Lancome messages and kitty kat pictures.

PS: Our gay chief instructor (you know the one- his name isn't Bob) says the steering wheel is gay. He slobbers all over it so I'm a little concerned he could be right. How many people have you ever seen lick a steering wheel??

George-The car sounds like it would be a great car for me, but my pockets are not as deep as I would like. GLWTS

Rich-The car has more miles than I would like on my first Porsche. GLWTS

Still looking. I guess I will have to wait until the end of track season or when winter begins. :-/
