Truth be told, I exercised my point by finger twice for a gentleman who was driving a very fast 996 turbo quite well. He mentioned that he was pushing 450 at the wheels on 93 octane and 520 with race gas. He seemed to know how to use it. He was at the end of the row by the trees a few cars up from Mia and Brian. I forgot his name as I often do but he seemed like yet another great guy.

I definitely gave point-bys - especially the drizzling session on Saturday. I had my slicks on and two daughters watching. Didn't want to end up greeting the wall... Loads of fun with the whole Blue group though - and thanks for the kudos.

GONE: This list got too long.

Had a great weekend as well, and wasnt even in my own car, thanks for the pic of it though joshd.
i was in intersports car that had been sitting in storage for 3 years....it was a shakedown ride...so i guess this means im a werks drover now...
car ran great all weekend, was a bit scary in the corners friday and saturday (shock or spring seemed to stick causing erradic movements when pushed hard guess it could also be the lsd) but by sunday it was much better, 2nd gear was a fight most of the weekend so if i slowed anyone down in turn 1 or 5 it was me searrching for a gear (when second locked it took 5 pumps of the clutch to get any gear).
Hunt and I had some great runs on saturday, the cars were very close to each other.

amazing how much more pedeling you have to do in a 2.7 vs a 3.2.....can only imagine the 914r's, but sheesh its fun to be able to be floored the second you turn in without the tail jumping out.

Sly came out of her incident in turn 10 great, she ended up sharing the white car with me and i just sat passenger (in a 3pt belt from 1978ish). her first time out in the car and she went into turn 10 where the previous incident happened and didnt flinched...i was expecting a 30 mile an hour first time round....sure enough she trusted herself and did great (a little slower but not crawling)
as she got used to the car and not using 2nd gear she really progressed and was driving great even with the 200lb ballast known as me.

My student nick in blue was flying in his 3.2 carrera. really progressed and hopefully i got him faster.

Went out with Dr. K and survived...its amazing i know.... he may say he needs more speed from the motor but he needs to get on hoosiers more and really learrn to drive the car as it will race...few places he could get on the gas a little would help but all in all he drove very well and i ended up just being dead weight.

Feel bad for all the carnage that happened, but am glad everyone got away just fine (or so my understanding is)

One last comment was, WHAT HAPPENED TO EVERYONE ON SUNDAY....mainly instructors...that place was a ghost town and the day was perfect.

Thanks to all who helped put it together.

Some luck lies not in getting what you thought you wanted but getting what you have, which once you have got it you may be smart enough to see is what you would have wanted had you known.

Nope. Silver 997 Turbo. Some say it was driven by a racist Mexican.
