Yes, and I was quite pleased with the results. I need to do the ball cup and tunnel bushing as well, but was busy breaking the stud of my targa bar and didn't get to it. Still haven't looked into the speedo, but it's still on jacks so there's still time.

Finally I got to look into this. 5 min into my beautiful pleasure drive tonight I had the same problem after it worked fine on Saturday. Anyhow it was the wires in the tunnel. I wish all the fixes were that easy and cheap!
