Default 962 Calipers?

Not interested myself, but if someone could make these work, nice for bragging rights! Pari, what better way to slow down that 700 HP than with the coolest calipers on the block?

I saw those... and they're less than $70 for a pair with 21 minutes left. But - who knows what they'd fit, what rotors/pads would be needed, etc. Not a lot of data on the 962 conversion. And I can only imagine trying to source a rebuild kit for one.

Me: "Yes, I'd like a rebuild kit for a 962 front caliper"
Porsche: "Yes, we have the last two availabe in the world. That'll be 10,000".
Me: "Yen?"
Porsche: "Euros, or 13,000 dollars"

Cool picture off a PPBBS thread about the 935. Regular ole Carrera calipers next to those on a 935 ...

Speaking of 962 parts ... I confirmed last week that the Beast has a 962 wastegate.

Im sure AP still makes rebuild kits for their products.. There are quite a few 962's in the vintage scene these days. Besides, once you rebuild them once, how often do you think till you even use up the pads, let alone need another rebuild?
