I think u misread and are responding Scott telling Kurt to run in GTS1. I never said a word about GTS1. I responded to the "taking care of your feminine side with a miata" and that we had the Boxster to take care of the fem side

I guess you could throw balast in to get the weight up.

A track car needs to make at least one lap per race or it will end up in the formation lap of the next one. 912 is at 24 LB per HP now. Even flat curved, which is tough to do with a carbed pushrod 4 cyl, it is still worse than my self propeled lawnmower. Besides, I took a big toke on an HP laced splif and got hooked.

Torque curves the same would a higher HP but heaver car be more able to pass you on the straight using little driver skill or race craft. The lighter car has to then fight to earn the pass in a corner that is then lost back on the next straight.

Its cool buddy, I know better and even spoke to you about Vali's Spec Boxster win at Nationals the day you got back. See, my memory is still pretty good.

NASA Nationals last year (really the last two years at Miller) has certainly not been representative of the best cars/drivers in the country in GTS. Just because the GTS2 title was won by a Boxster does not mean it's a great GTS2 car. Actually, the fact that a Spec Boxster with Hoosiers on it ( I think that's what I read somewhere) won the national title shows either: a) someone should be paying that driver to drive their racecars, or b) the rest of the field was pretty frickin weak. Maybe a combination of the two.

haha! I guess there is always that too. I think it's pretty tough at nationals to get away with something though...they certainly run a tighter ship than Wonger does in MidAtlantic.
Shit, I ran a cheater car all last year and no one caught me.
