Default What's a good epoxy?

I'm planning on replacing the pop-off in the air box, and am wondering if there's a "better than others" epoxy out there that I should use. I've tried the Loc-Tite epoxy kit, and it's crap.

Thanks!

I used JB Weld for the pop off valve, worked for years now.

Rob:

Another alternative. Years ago I got a two part epoxy for repairing soft bumper skins and I've used it for a bunch of other things. It dries into a hard but somewhat pliable plastic that has good adhesion properties -- gray in color. I got it at AutoZone.

why you might see a pop off valve bouncing along in the street?

another vote for the slow set JB Weld.

At marine stores is 2 part epoxy FlexSet. It's expecially good at joining dissimiliar parts that would tend to seperate due to cold/heat cycling different expansion/contractions. It was the only product I'd trust with upgrading my 1977 air deflectors to the Carrara plastic one piece where I had to adapt 2 plastic sliders glued under the sliding roof.

anything that takes a solid set on these pop off valves is at risk imho
