Blue 911 (I think...I was kinda haulin' a bit) south on GW Parkway nearing Mt. Vernon. Nice wave. A black SC in the same area...looked like 24" chromes on it...waved...not sure they knew why.

I was driving out of Prince William Parkway between Liberia and Hoadly road and right in front of me a 964 crossed in front of me. I made a quick turn and followed the car. The owner pulled over his residence and turned out to be another Porsche enthusiast to my benefit. He gave me some great info and once I finish my car I will meet with him for a day ride. He drives a 1996 with the rear wing spoiler and upgrade rims, he also had a Boxter parked in the garage for daily use, he said.
I don't know if I would of acted in the same manner if someone would had followed me instead. They probably would have looked at the end of my .40 caliber P2000. Not that it has happened before.

Black 996 Twin Turbo on the side of I-270 SB just north of Exit 16. Stopped to help - flat rear tire. He was on the phone with Porsche Roadside Assistance, but I changed the tire for him in about 20 minutes (the delay involved finding the special piece for the locking wheel bolt). The tire had a hole on the inner sidewall about 1.5 x 4"!! Wow.
I just happened to have my portable air tank in the car, which made inflating the inflatable spare much, much faster. Wish I'd had my jack... Nice guy and wife. Dressed nicely (offered to help but I suggested I was already dirty).

Ocean blue 996 C4 going N on I95 south of DC. Convertible w/ a hardtop in place. Black 993 C4S going N on I95, then around the beltway to the W toward tysons. Had plates "TAGR 911"?? Made no sense to me.
