Default Porsche and Planes II -July 24

We are hosting another Porsche and Planes on July 24. http://pcachs.org/meetings/gtg_porsches_planes.html

This time we will have two Cayman race cars that are part of the Historic Sportscar Race Series. The Miller Highlife and Löwenbräu cars. Bob Russo will be bringing the cars. He has been doing a lot of work on setting up DE cars so he may have some good insight for many of you.

Hope you can make it!

Sounds like fun. And your description of those Caymans sounds eerily familiar...

The Chesapeake PCA has received a great response so far for the event (over 35 people as of last week). Sounds like we will have a good turnout. Hope to see (meet) many of you there. Remember, NEXT Saturday.

Yes. Those are the cars. Rod Ryan owns the race team and Bob Russo manages it. Bob used to do a bunch with the 917s. I met him on the Eastern Shore last year. He specializes in setting up race cars and has been doing it for a while. Interesting guy with a lot of cool cars at his finger tips. In addition to the Caymans, he is bringing a old spider and his 98 C2S that looks awesome.

I was informed this morning that the RSVP through Chesapeake PCA is up to 60 people. Don't know how many cars that is but it should be a great turn out.

Dirk, thanks. I actually knew it was Rod but for some reason I can't seem to spell Rod when typing quick (it always comes out Rob.) Hope you showing up since you are the one that put on to Bob.
