Yep, that was my first DE. Going down the chute was a great way to get to know those famous Porsche brakes!

Default Introducing myself

My name is Bill. I've been a Porsche owner since 2001 and a racing/track day nut since 2004. I was very recently introduced to this site as I was promoting an outdoor arrive and drive karting series in the DC/Richmond area and thought I would check it out. I'm hoping for some good track day invitations and maybe some fellow F1/ALMS fans.

As for the karting series, I'll save that for another post...

Default Introduction - from Ardy

Hello,

My name is Ardy Alam. I've been with PCA Potomac since 2003. I've met some of you on some events (Autocross, Parade 2005, Meetings, Drive and Dine, Escape, VA and MD breakfasts). I traveled out of town & a lot in the last 6 years so I didn't get a chance to participate in more events.

Only recently I learned about this board from Fritz and Ken (joep) when we were volunteering at the HPDC in Summit Point.

I usually drive a silver 2001 986 (with my Dorkiphus nickname in the license plate), and just recently acquired a silver 2005 955-S as my daily driver.

Thanks and I look forward to talking to/hanging out/competing/eating with you in the next events!

Cheers,
Ardy

Hi Fritz,

Thanks...

Hmm- I may if the timing is right, but it depends on the mercy of my bosses. They told me I need to go to India to visit our development office in that timeframe.
In the meantime, if you see my car there without me, it's probably my Dad driving it
