I might be able to help you transport if Josh can drive it to Hatboro (<1 hour from Allentown). My wife will be up there for Mother's Day (while her hubby and son are at Mid-Ohio!).

'02 BMW M3. Although I also had Pole Positions in my '87 911.
I wasn't planning on going to Hershey, but I'm only a little over an hour away. If you want it, I could probably bring it out there. I'll also be making a trip down I-81 to southern VA in a few weeks.

They are the regular Recaro sliders, not specific to any car.
I needed seat mount adapters for the M3, not sure if you would need them to mount in a 996.

Omar, just went through this. If you want to mount Recaro universal sliders to a 996 you need the following http://bkauto.com/porsche/r9040.php. These bolt to the floor rails and you bolt the sliders to them. I have a spare set as I ended up buying GT3 seats which don't need them. If you're interested let me know.
