It sounds like a very nice car. But I don't think its worth $20K.

Recent paint ? Not a big fan of a repainted car that is being touted as original.

This car was at the most recent maryland breakfast. I would say it's a nice car but not perfect but still a very good car. I don't think the whole cars been repainted but I can't remember what the owner said.

"recent paint" says to me "i bought someone's wreck, did the absolute cheapest and shittiest body repair i could, and now i want to sell it for top dollar and turn a profit".

Yeah, no thanks.

1) ALL 89 951 Turbos were "S" spec.

2) 2 years ago there was a sub 20K mile example for sale in MD. On autotrader. Asking price was $14K. I know the car sold for more (I spoke to the guy and offered 14 but said he had offers for more.. there was even a thread on RL about it), but even in a stronger market 2 years ago it was less than $20k.

3) No pics of the typical cracked dash

Pretty sure this is the same car SSI was selling last year or so. It wasn't $20k then. Sloan might be able to confirm . . .

$15k maybe. But not to me. Maybe if it was black or blue or silver . . .

Is it true it is a lightened version (or lighter only because it's a non-sunroof coupe)?

Curious why he didn't include the VIN number in the ad. If it's really a "EUROSPEC" car, wouldn't that be the best indicator?
