Not me! I like Pete's and Fritz’s better. Looks like easier in and out (subjective) and more interior space. Also looks stronger (to me). Peter had Piper add an additional cross piece between the 2 rear legs at their mounting points that looks like it adds quite a bit of stiffness right above the rear suspension mounting points. Was surprised at the estimated weight of the cage ~190 IIRC

Are you saying the cage in his car weighs ~190 lbs That sounds a lot heavier than my bolt in.

I think the typical custom cage install is considerably heavier that the bolt in cage kits. IIRC, the bolt-in I had bought for a 944 (and later sold...) weighed a bit over 100#. But it did not have nearly as much tubing as the Piper cage in my race car. I don't know the exact weight of my car's roll cage, but 190# does not sound unreasonable.

I may be underestimating the weight of my cage, but I figured 2 additional 18(or is it 20) ft pieces of 1.75x0.95 tubing compared to what my existing Safety devices cage (1.75x0.95). My cage already has a diagnol welded to it to meet NASA's requirements. Would the extra 36 ft be enough for another brace in the back, two NASCAR door bars and an X over the top? 200 lbs for cage would put me in the big porker overweight category.
