No, I dont' think so. The 912 guys put together a cruise every year callled "The Rendezvous".
"The owner let a 912er from Kansas drive it at the 912 rendezvous a few weeks ago. the driver went around a turn, which had some pebbles on it, and the car started to get squirly. the owner panicked, lifted and it spun. the rear end went up the embankment, then into the air and it roled ass over nose once or twice."
