Question Any Experience With "German Auto Group"

Has anyone had any work done at German Auto Group in Springfield, VA? I'm looking at some places to get a corner balance and alignment done (post major suspension refresh/upgrade) and they seem to be the closest shop near Stafford, VA that works on 911's and offer this service.

I stopped by the other day and spoke to one of their mechanics about it; he seemed very knowledgable and helpful. Considering going with them, but would like to hear if anyone else has any experience with them.

Thanks, Gordo

There's a ton of people experienced with Taylor Chapmen from when he was at ASG, and now with GAG. All has been pretty positive so far, which really is saying something.

Taylor is fantastic. My alignment, balance, height adjustment was his last job at ASG before he left for GAG.

As DD said, there are a number of us who have used Taylor and he is generally highly recommended.

Taylor has a great rep, and GAG is a PCAP supporter.
What more could you want??

I've had both my SC and the wife's E36 BMW there for major service repairs. Very happy with them all the way.

Default Thanks

Taylor is the mechanic who I spoke to when I stopped by. Based on everyone else's impression here, seems I was rightfully impressed (he was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with my suspension questions and a few related).

Looks like I will be putting it in good hands,

Thanks, Gordo

Not to take anything away from Taylor, but another shop in the area with a good rep is RPM in Newington.

... then you also talked to the owner... he had a great rep before opening his own shop and is obviously motivated now.

Wonder if they would work on older Mercedes as well...
