Nope... LOL... those are the girls from MySmokinRide.com that covered the Festival of Speed last weekend in St. Petersburg, FL see: http://picasaweb.google.com/nathanie...stivalOfSpeed#

I invited them to the Suncoast PCA Corral for a photo opp. This is also where I got the shot of Elle' with an F-18 Superhornet and that 2007 SSC Aero #1 of 24

The more I drive it, the more I'm giving thought to track days. Every time I take it out, I'm amazed at how absolutely neutral it is in the corners. It does exactly what you tell it with no surprises, and then begs for more. I took it out to 211 today and it just ate that road up. I'm looking forward to taking it to some roads I know in WV.

But I'm also hesitant to do track days. I've done them before (on a bike) and know what a blast they are. ...and what a money sink they can be. (More so with a car than a bike, I assume.) It would be a lot of fun to really stretch its legs, though. We'll see...

One day someone will build a 944 motor that doesn't have a number 2 bearing. Just like they build buildings without a 13th floor

Nice to see another horse and horsepower enthusiast here.

I'm new, picked up an '05 Boxster S recently, after turning in my leased '05 Honda S2000 last September. (Pictures of the new ride coming soon.) I've had two Alfa Romeos, one that was turned into a full racer and is still running around Gingerman Raceway in MI with its owner. I just really enjoy roadsters, I guess.

I once attracted a boyfriend by describing Ruf's "Yellow Bird" when he was trying to impress me with his 911. That guy was Peter Baron, who has run in the 24 of le Mans. You take away something positive from each relationship -- Peter taught me how to correctly take a late apex turn.

My older brother and sister have both owned Porsches -- a 911 and a 944, respectively. Now it's my turn.

I've signed up for FATT on 1 May. If any of you are there and want to show me how to drive the car at its limit (I'm signed off to Seat Time), I'll be in the blue one accompanied by a 6'4" retired Army NCO who keeps a close watch on me. lol

Cheers,
Diane
