You may want to rent an old fashioned, crane-type engine hoist to get that thing up and off the pallet. I rented one once for an engine lift from a 928 and I thought of all kinds of other uses for it. I rented mine from Autozone, but not sure if they do that anymore.

Few cars have had frames since the early 80's. Most cars have unibody construction as opposed to trucks that have bodies on frames. Now, even some trucks like the Honda Ridgeline and many little SUVs have unibodies as well. A unibody is like an exoskeleton of a bug.

Congrats!
You will find that the lift was probably the best tool investment that you'll ever make!

1. Where did you buy that lift?
2. How much did it cost? 3. How high will it go (safely)? BC

Greg Smith (in Delaware). They apparently drop ship from Baltimore. It was $1,500 delivered. It will go up to 4 1/2 feet. Very easy to use. I was raising and lowering all day to work on various stuff.
