Thanks for the 'welcome' Kevin (and others). It'll probably take me a while to figure out who's who, but I like what I see. Feels like home.

I did run two races this year (only two ). Sebring and SP. Every year I say it'll be 5 or more next year.

And you?

KO, me and a bumch of others are all just wan-a-bee racers. There was even a Red Carrera DE Champ last year. And several Dorki Cup Series too More and more of a moving target for the sophomore class with full cages (PCA) and double door bars (NASA).

Nice mix here. Lots do DE's. And couple autox'ers (myself included), and a good number of racers. I personally just got my racing license again this year in, PCA and NASA, and running an SP2 944. My first stint was with SCCA back in the mid 1980's, with an ITS Datsun 240Z. But then came the first of 3 sons...... The 2 oldest have now autox'd and DE'd, as does my wife . My current 944 racer was bought from another Dorki, who stopped to start his family. Its seems to be one of those circle of life things.....

Hey Rob, thanks for the welcome. I hope to be of service w/ SC-esque driving tips. But first - is your car a no-sunroof, no-passenger side mirror, dark blue interior SC?

I viewed your vid - you're doing very well so far. I'll re-examine and see if I can see any particulars to note.

Remember, there is no substitute for seat time.

Hello all. Long time listener, first time caller... I would like to introduce myself and hopefully be a part of this esteemed clan. My name is Dwayne and I live in the Mount Vernon area of Fairfax County. I am an engineer by day, and incredibly successful racecar driver by night - usually between midnight and 5AM. I have a pretty cool wife (when it comes to car stuff) and three kids who have practically grown up around the track. I've been a member of PCA since 1995 and have owned two 914's, one 944 and three 911SC's. I currently have a 1983 911SC for the street and a 1982 911SC racecar. I've been a Porschephile since I was in grade school.

My goal here is to participate in the fantastic track and technical banter and hopefully pick up a few tips that might make me a little faster on the track. I promise to be only as sarcastic as necessary and to give more than I take (sounded bad I know).

I look forward to meeting many of you online, in the pddock and on the track.

Is this the Dwayne that drives an excursion, and needed to be push started at Potomac Region DE@ VIR this Sept.?

If so, welcome, this is the guy with the lifted ex.

If not, welcome anyway, this is the guy with the lifted ex.

Looking forward to the tips, D. My car has a sunroof, passenger side mirror and black interior.
