Porsche of Tyson's contact?
Is there a Dorki-friendly contact at HBL? I'd like to have a dealer take a look at the hot pepper before she goes nekkid and see if there's any work that needs to be done now...
Plus, I need a new key programmed, and some other minor stuff.

I needed my track inspection for NJMP, and Kurt introduced me to a service manager. Once they knew I was a friend of Kurt's, they gave me a back rub, loaned me a PDK-car while my car was done (or was that just a K-car?), cooked me dinner...actually, they were really nice, and did fix a very small issue I'd been putting off, and refused to charge me. I gave a nice tip, which also included what I thought the fix would have been. Thanks Kurt.

I think he entered a state of pure stasis to the molecular level, the laws of thermodynamics took over and he ceased to exist on this energy level. It might have happened sometime in 2004 we could not tell when or if.
Kidding aside. I dono, one day he was "No longer with us" in the working way not the dead way. Kurt Hoover is OK.

Well, I realize this is my first post on this site(I was referred from Rennlist) but I still have to offer my .02 on HBL. I have had a terrible CPO and service history with these guys. Scariest bunch of felons I've ever come across! Managers were never available and wouldn't return calls. Front line guys obfuscate as if they've had training in the art. Systematic fraud from sales to service. PCNA wouldn't even back them up. YMMV. The detailed story is long and I'm not much of a typist but, if you'd like the particulars, PM me and I'd be happy to tell you all about it.

Every dealer has a bad day, so I'm not surprised you have a sad tale to tell. On balance, HBL is probably above average which doesn't mean they don't misfire from time to time. As a counterpoint, my dealings with HBL Service (which are only over the last 18 months) have been nothing other than very, very good experiences. As you said: YMMV.
