I intend to leave early evening (around 6) if anyone wants to caravan down during the "late shift"

Sweet baby hey-seus! Sounds like I need to get my wife to follow me down in our SUV stuffed with gear.

Seriously, thanks for the great advice!

I'm going to try to leave early on Thursday (Faith), but will let you know if that gets botched (Peter). Any other takers?

I knew my car was down on power; because I can only get to 7K in fourth on the back straight and that shows as 131 on GPS. Maybe with a lower fifth gear it will do something when I shift.

The casual right seat observer, claimed that Randy Pobst took my old car up the climbing esses at 120 indicated. I believe parallax was involved.

You mean you get to 131 on the back straight with a 1983 SC, seriously? Not you, I am down on power or ability or something; I could only 128 with my 06 Cayman

While yes, your car should be faster, methinks the SC in question has about 3.6 liters of motivation
