Default Tis the season

I had unscrewed my 5.5 hp air compressor from the bench it was mounted on some time ago. I was going to install it higher on the wall to free up some work space but couldn’t get it high enough by myself. It sat on the bench un-tethered for several months while people came and went that could have helped me but alas I forgot all about it.

Then yesterday while working on the accused ’44 it “walked” right off the bench Fortunately it missed “Black Talon”, my ‘71’s replacement gas tank, and the 914 2ltr. All are better for it too

Anyway, it didn’t work after taking the fall. “BT” suggested a big hammer and what the heck it didn’t work anyway so we did , and now it does Later I told my darling wife about it. But before I could tell her the happy ending she suggested putting a new 175 lb compressor on my X-Mass list God I love that women I vest up so no new compressor but god I love that women

So, what are the dorki hoping to “score” this year Don’t forget your significant other’s e-mail so we can all be Santa’s little helpers

You know, there are precious few reasons to upgrade during the summer, but this is one. Not being in the middle of a project allows more leeway for the wish list. Yeah, I know I'm reaching here.

My wish list includes a helmet, extinguisher and mounting bracket, and new floor mats since the old brown ones now clash. And tools - 1/2" deep well sockets, a set of big ass metric wrenches, and a lift. You know, the little things.

Oh Boy! This is a tough one. Since every thing has been replace below the water line and forward of the engine bulk head there is not much to do there. So I guess I'll take the old girl apart and paint her. Try to make an Arfess a Wolfess.

I brother, do I share that hope! With a drop & refresh, the ususal 'while you're in there' things like clutch [ouch!] belts, waterpump etc, and bodywork, it could be quite a tab.

I think I might be able to provide that home. PM me with some details when ready.

Some new 5 pt belts, some 9x16 fuchs, "permission" for Road Atlanta DE and while I am at it a "full" DE season (last year I made only 1 event.. need to build that back up to the 6-9 I once enjoyed) and, oh yeah, A couple of sets of Khumos. Merry Christmas!

1. I hope to not get hit by any falling compressors in 2005...
2. Seats, so I can finally use the harnesses.
3. A set of reversible gearwrenches - 12 piece metric (I printed out info from four tool web sites this evening, and 'accidentally' left them on the printer)
