Default HELP! Lopey idle AND acceleration

I just started experiencing issues with lopey idle and acceleration. The car is almost putt-putting and it feels way done on power.

Last year I replaced plugs and wires and the car has been running like a champ until last week.

I was inspecting hoses for possible vacuum leaks and found the clamp loose on both ends of this tube. I also found that it was cracked. I tightened the clamps and wrapped some duct tape around the rubber part, but that has not helped.

The car starts just fine and the idle holds at 900rpm, but through the pants feel is like model-T instead of 911.

Most can vouch that I am as mechanically gifted as [insert your own insult here], but it sounds like something that happened to me that was related to my distributor. If you haven't checked your distributor rotor/cap, etc., I'd check that out just to eliminate it as a potential culprit.

I'll check both but I forgot to mention I replaced cap and rotor with the wires.

Now I know why they say buy the newest 911 you can afford.

Just a guess here but judging by the cable tie fix on the cruise control might be time to go through the whole setup. My idle problems were simply a blown fuze. Finding the reason for the blown fuze was more difficult. Have you gone through the Carrera trouble shooting matrix?
