Default Need to test my CDI unit

I need to see if someone could test my Bosch CDI unit. My car stopped working yesterday, and I am pretty sure that it is the CDI (no high pitched squeal being emitted from the engine bay). I have pulled a wire from the distributor cap and tested for spark (none). I have swapped my overboost switch (yellow relay in engine bay) to see if it had blown (no luck). At this point I would like to pull the CDI unit and see if someone is kind enough to let me intsall it in their car, turn the switch to the "On" position (not start it), and see if the unit squeals or not. I suspect not, in which case I will probably take the opportunity to switch-out to crankfire ignition (Electromotive XDI).

Thanks,
David
