Need to switch dentists so looking for recommendations. Somewhere between Rockville and Damascus preferred. Let me know who you've been happy with.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Rubenstein for more than 20 years. We are extremely happy with their services. They've been in the Medical Office Park across MV Ave. from the Village Shopping Center. However, they're moving shortly to a new office on Shady Grove Rd, just off Rt. 270 (I believe its near the restaurant "That's Amore"). The elder Rubenstein has his son Mark in the process of taking over the practice; I expect elder doc will be retiring within the next few years. But Mark is terrific, too. A neat service they provide is CERAK (?) ceramic crowns, which they make on site; you get fitted for a crown and about an hour later, you're done! The whole appointment takes about 2 hours; no waiting weeks for the crown to be made off-site.

Their phone number is 301-963-3333.

I saw a Dr. Rubenstein (in NYC) as a little boy. His daughter is one mother's oldest friends - to give you an idea how old this man was, his daughter is almost 80! I think Tony sees a different Dr. Rubenstein...

Probably so... Leonard Rubenstein is the elder doc. His wife Gail has also been running the front desk forever. I believe both are probably in their 60's. Both Leonard and Mark are excellent dentists. And we've also been very happy with all the Dental Hygienists that have worked in their office.

Well, he's not exactly near Rockville or Damascus but he is a long time SCCA racer and somehow that makes me more comfortable: Dr. Charles Broring in Bethesda 8218 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD.
