Thanks for the welcome. I stuck with the screen name roundel because it has been my handle for years on other fora (Is that the the plural of forum?)

Over the years I have had some Bimmers:
'77 530i (inherited from grandfather, to my father, to my sister, to me, now sold)
'85 528e (Ebay buy for silly kicks through Lock Raven on dry-rotted tires)
'96 318ti (1st track car)
'97 M3 (135+ track days and still kick'n)

So BMW got me into the track madness game so I have some loyalty to them. I got the 911 to have a new challenge because to be honest, the M3 is not too challenging any more. I could have sunk money into it to make is faster, but adding the Porsche seemed like a more interesting way to go.
Here is another Porsche shot just for giggles:

Hi- I'm Geof, brother of Brian "BeerBurner" Barrows. I met some of you at today's meetup at Kingstowne.

I just bought my first P-car last month- a 2007 Targa 4. I told my insurer that I plan to put maybe 4k miles per year on it. Hah! I'm already at almost 2k after just four weekends! What a splendid machine!

I look forward to seeing everyone in the future.

Nice to see you online Bob - you and I met at VIR in June at the Marque Madness event - I had the black SC. Glad you made it by.

In college I was an applied math major, and one night while I was up late pondering vector calculus, I realized that "Geof" looked like it could be a mathematical operator, like "Geof(x)", whereas "Geoff" looked a bit heavy on the right. It was very late at night. So from then on I used one "f". The only trouble is that now when people write my name out in full they write "Geofrey" while properly written it is "Geoffrey".

Now if you want to see something nice, go to the website www.geof.com. I have no relation to that site, BTW.
