HOLY CRAP! That is awesome. 462HP? 2400lbs?
It's all about P2W.

2400 + 200 (being kind ... ) is 2600 / 462 = 5.63:1

IMHO ... a ten inch rear slick will "cook" with that P2W. (even with LS will be overpowered under throttle steering) Greg is currently running 285 / ? /? and will most definately be upgrading (width wise) the rears ....

or not.

Won't make VIR but ... would love to instruct (Greg in this particular veHICle) at Shennendoah (sp) this fall should we ever get on it.

I have driven around Shenandoah in the 996 Turbo pace car at a fairly sensible speed, no helmets, no tyre walls and the owner of the car knew I was driving it. You may not want to instruct in that monster Jase. Bill Scott is not in favour of high powered cars and designed a lot of that course to suck high powered cars in. Karousel is limiting and the downhill decreasing radius off camber with limited run off is going to be a handfull!!!!

I just returned from Summit Point where with Tony's help was able to run
3 sessions with RTR. Would have run all 4, but that beastie plumb kicked
my butt! Boy did that kicking hurt good! Only one spin, between 5 & 6.
Been there, done that with the "T". It's a lot of car. Tight and stable, feels
solidily planted everywhere. Its very stiff and quite literally sounds (and
feels) at times like it's shaking itself to pieces.

Very physical car. I need to exercise more!

It's quick. Fortunately, boost comes on progressively, not in a big
whoosh. Seems to plant the rear end rather than wanting to break loose.

VIR will be fun. I may need to explore Shenandoah the first time in the T.

GEEZ . . . . BYOI . . . . now that's a novel idea . . . . glad to hear that the maiden voyage went well.

Just remember . . . slicks give no notice before they let loose . . . but you probably know that now

I had some important work to do this weekend.

Greg calls Saturday night, and asks if we could maybe just show up at SP and see if RTR would let us run the car. Sounded like a plan to me, so all good works were cancelled and off we went at 6:45AM.

RTR were great - welcomed us with open arms, and even gave me a green student for good measure!

Driving Greg's car was a blast. It is extremely well balanced, capable, and bloody quick. Had the boost dialled back to 1 bar, and the turbo onset was far smoother than many street 930s I've driven. It literally sets down on the rear and checks out!

Passing almost any where was simply squirt on demand. The 4 speed box is nice - less rowing, and the ratios were good for SP. Should be the perfect appliance for VIR and Watkins Glen

It is quite physical, and demands very accurate placement. Its a workout to drive, but the payback is solid grinning!

I’d like to hear the whole story. From conception, hunt for car, test drive on the toll road closing the deal
