not quite

at least they go the full monty to get it done right. not that vacillating half-assed approach that targas perform. and conform to the track. and leak. and crack windows. they just look funny

welcome scott. you'll have fun.

Thanks all for the welcome.

Here's Gretchen at Intersport, they still have the doofy window sticker on the front. Monday they are going to run emissions and recharge the AC. Depending on when the upholstery lady comes by, we'll get the leather dyed. If she can't make it Monday, I'll bring her home for the holiday, then take her back for the leather work later. (Leather's fine, just lost a bunch of color)

Chuck took real good care of her, and the rebuild on the motor is great. Plus, she's got a new clutch, brakes, tires, etc. I'm looking forward to learning how to handle her on the back roads. (Did I mention this is my first real sports car, not to mention Porsche?)

Gretchen

Just wanted to introduce myself:

My name's Clint and I'm new to the Porsche scene. I've been a Jeep owner for about 8 years, and I was looking to get into auto-crossing. I figured what beter Porsche to start out on than Sandberg's old 944 (the sleek black beauty).

Anyway, I look forward to meeting you all.

Welcome Clint:

Used to be a jeep man too ['84 CJ7 for 6+ years] ... loved that thing [lifted, light bar, winch / bumpers, mudders, lockers, etc... went everywhere, never broke and in all weather.

Sorry you got stuck with a FEWC

Ask TD about wiring and Jazz about garage rental when you get a moment

Chuck takes great care of his cars and I couldn't believe he sold it after all the work and $$ that went into it. You certainly good a great wip! Prolly find some Johnny Mathis and Bing C tapes under seat though only needs roll bar, seats, harnesses, RA1s BIG TBars...

Welcome, but check the '44 carefully. Trust me he never drove any of his cars hard But he's a Brit car guy and may have snuk some Lucus electrical parts in there.

Hi everyone! My name is Patrick and I'm a trackoholic.

I've been away from the P-cars for a few years. I had been tracking a 3rd gen RX7 for the past 4 years, but decided I got tired of working on it in the paddock and wanted a 993. However, I should have bought a turbo...I'm miss the power and my lap times.

Hope to meet all of you soon!
