even gt3's w/ rollcage, sequential shifters, and centerlock wheels should still be considered stock. it's harder to make fun of you w/o your banana strage sighting of teedee devoid of his gadgetry? don't believe it. watched that video again and STILL can't see what slides he's talking about. |

On a more serious note, I now understand what I was experiencing. Although I thought my suspension was fairly stiff at the time, I now appreciate how soft it is (which is a good thing for street use). I was also on full tread brand new street tires, not to mention the fact that I was picking up my speed quite a bit. Consequently, I was starting to experience tread squirm and lateral movement of the "tires" at "relatively" high speeds going through the uphill esses, which was disturbing to me at the time. I now know that this type of lateral movement, while disturbing to newbies, is not the same type of movement you experience before the tires actually break lose, so I really didn't have "too" much to be concerned about. I really never want to go back on the track again with soft suspensions and street tires, although that would be better than not going on the track at all.

I now own my first Porsche. I bought Chuck's '87 cabrio today and will be picking it up next week after they get emissions handled and an AC recharge.
I'm still boggling that I own a p-car now... -- Scott '87 911 Cabriolet (Chuck's car) |

Congratulations!
Remember it's not a cult it's a disease that cannot be cured. Also remember, when it comes to upgrades, repairs or anything else Porsche it's not real money, it's Porsche Dollars. |

Also remember that cab owners fall into the same category as targa owners here
