Hey Scott,

I sometimes instruct for Mazda (it's been a while) and they are great group to run with. Like NASA, it is fun to mix it up w/ other makes. You will probably get good track time.

Have fun!

Oh, and IIRC, not much different from PCA. I think there are four groups, instead of five. Passing zones will be the same for students,..... for instructors, anywhere w/ a point by (like NASA).

I'll be there. The Mazda guys are a lot of fun. It's pretty similar to most events at SP.

I will have one "beginner" and one "advanced" student. I'd love to get both in Porsches.

If any of you are going to be there, you are allowed to request a specific instructor. It wouldn't be bad for my ego at all.

I'll be there Saturday, but will pass my students off to a good friend and excellent instructor for Sunday's sessions. He's a BMW guy, but I usually don't hold that against him.

After missing the HPDC deadline I was going to go with the Mazda event, but passed because I have spent way too much money getting the car ready for the track. I wanted to rebuild the bank account a bit. Of course, my tax returns are cancelling all of that money out but oh well, I already have other plans.

I think a buddy of mine (Colin Jevens) is one of the instructors there. If he is, smack him in the back of the head for me.

BB.

A buddy of mine will be instructing there, and I plan on swinging by on Saturday just to be a spectator. Plus, the SC could use a good leg stretching.
