Default A little bit of rust

Anyone know the owner of this 911?

I spotted it accross the street from the Verizon Center on Saturday.

It was nice to still see it spend the last days on the road instead of a salvage yard.

Wow.. there is another one? I pass a '69T on Constitution, right near the Washington Monument, seemingly everyday. It has a fair bit of "surface rust" as well. Heck, nearly 40 years old and obviously parked outside since day 2!

That thing has a current inspection sticker. HTF, he must know somebody, I'm sure the floorpan has a few holes.

Reminds me of the "hood rides" from the vw forums.

Recognized that right away. I don't know anything about the owner but I've seen the car in Burke once or twice.

It has a face only a mother or Porsche nut could love.

So much for pride in ownership. I note it's a swb, so that make it pre '69. Did you notice the badge (if it still has one) as to whether it's a regular, L, or S model? If a "S" even in it's present condition it is still worth a bundle of bucks.

Pre '68 (covered lights) thought it was a 912?
