Believe it's the same one. Try Pelican Parts, they got 'em in stock - OC54

Mine says "Porsche" on it. I probably paid extra, but saved in shipping.

Not sure if there is any real difference...however, Mahle has been recommended to me.

The difference in filters generally is so insignificant that it doesn’t matter except when in does! Use the Mahle they are recommended by Porsche stocked in all the shops for Porsche & can be purchased on sale from most suppliers in the $4 - $5 range. We buy ours in bulk (all 3 variations), on sale. I keep relearning old lessons; check your order when it comes in! I recently discovered that Performance sent 4 types of filters instead of the 3 types we ordered at Christmas

The P.O. used Castrol 20W50 and hadn't experienced any problems. Should I go with another brand and/or weight at the next oil change?
If you aren't experiencing any problems with Castrol, then Castrol is probably fine for your 911. Regardless of the brand, I recommend staying with the 20w 50 weight.

Same. Mahle makes the Porsche filters.
