Default engine stand yoke needed

I need to borrow the yoke for an engine stand, when I do the engine drop early in April. A few dorki's from both sides of the river have generously volunteered to help try and get this engine out, that hasn't been out of the womb since....1970?
Anyway, i'll be at dave-o's drop on the 26th of this month, or i can come get it?
with newborn twins(oops! they are almost a year now ), I havent really met everyone, but there's a few that will vouch for me, and i promise to take good care of it!

and you can see the progress(or me scratching my head) on your way up to Hershey, April 23rd!

I have a yoke and stand that you can use. I will not be needing it untill July or so. I am in Falls church VA. I don't plan on going to the drop or Hershey. You are welcome to come and get it or perhaps someone can get it to you.

All of you guys in NOVA live right down the street from each other, as far as we know. Rt 7 is a street, right?

Brian:

Dave has my stand and yoke, you are welcome to take it "across" the street, or next door as the case may be. This will save Jim's back for the drop

How long do you need it??

Marc

Default "accross the street"

"accross the street"

ROFL! yeh, yer all accross the river, so you-ins must be all kin, and live accross the street!
thanks for your understanding!

note to jims pickup service: please grab whichever engine yoke is easiest for you to locate (ie, who left their garage door open by mistake )

i don't want to have Kurt's till july, but thanks for the offer!
I'd love to have the engine back in by May!....so w/delay calculations....
not knowing what it needs......should be done by July!

are my calculations correct? Jim? Chris?
(plus, i guess it really doesnt need to sit on the stand the whole time....just to look at how purty it is.....)

Delay calculations are v ery important in doing this.... I can't tell you how much time I wasted waiting on something in the mail only to be the wrong part. PITA.

This Dave. I'll be done with it sometime this Saturday the 26th since I'm going to have to take the engine off of it if I'm going to do the lift. Won't need it anymore then. Come and get it on the 26th.
