(1) Looks like the rear sway bar is in way, or does the tranny
clear it when moves back? Remove? (2) The hard oil line that crosses underneath the engine. I assume this comes off or dies a horrible, crushing death. Yes? I'm only asking 'cause removal clearly entails removal of the left heat exchanger. Blech. Thanks!

(1) Remove
(2) On the 73E, it stays (only gets disconnected from the oil tank before the engine drop). On a 72, it might be different. It all depends on whether or not it hangs down too far or if it'll catch on anything as we lower the engine and pull it out the backside of your jacked up car. I think it's best if the heat exchangers are on the engine during the engine drop. Makes it a more stable lump sitting on the pallet. You do have the OFFICIAL NoVA engine drop equipment, eh? |
