Our Fun Run guru, Doug, is doing his first track event next Sat., so someone else must take the initiative and organize a fun run. How about a caravan out to Summit Pt. next Sat. around 11:00am? Besides, I need a good radar shield.

I was talking to Jim last week about a caravan. I'm definately in. The weather is supposed to be nice. I'm considering bringing the kid so he can get his first taste of this whole Porsche thing!

BTW, for anyone taking pictures my car will be #881 so please try and grab some of me on the track or in the paddock. I'll take whatever you shoot (either digital or 35mm) for my scrapbook. Thanks!

I'd say we should meet at the regular fun run starting point at 11:00am. Doug, directions for others please? It's right off of 28 across from that Homewood Suites in Herndon. From there it's a short hop to the Greenway or Rt. 7.

The last fun-run was my first. Is the regular starting place the same place we started the last fun-run?

Ted - yes, the starting point for FR #3 was the same one we used for #1 and #2 as well.

Richard - at that hour you probably want to head out the Toll road b/c RT 7 will be pretty congested.

Here are the directions to that meeting location:

From the Dulles Toll Road -
Exit on RT 28 North
At the 2nd traffic light make a left onto RT 606
At the 1st traffic light make a left onto Pacific Blvd and pull into the parking lot on your left (across from the Exxon)

From RT 7 -
Exit on RT 28 South
At the 4th traffic light after you pass the Carmax (on your righ) turn right onto RT 606
At the 1st traffic light make a left onto Pacific Blvd and pull into the parking lot on your left (across from the Exxon)

To return to the Toll road you can either a) make a left out of the parking lot onto RT 606 West and just past the second traffic light you will see an entrence to the Toll road or b) you can make a right out of the parking lot onto RT 606 East and at the 1st traffic light make a right onto RT 28 South and then follow the signs for the Toll road.

I have a few hot projects and a sales meeting to make a few presentations for over the next two weeks. Smack dabb in the middle is auto-x school and the season's 1st auto-x.
